I'm still here.
Oh boi. It's been a rough past week with me finishing research, moving, and helping out with student orientation. That said, I didn't really have much time to put in some hours doing much artsy stuff. If you have been following me on social media (twitter, instagram, and tumblr in particular), I've been posting some work in progress.
If you haven't been following me, other than moving and being generally too busy to log hours, I also had left my charger for my laptop on the other side of the country. I have it now, but that also made it difficult to do anything digital. I even published my last comic with pencil and ink. Oh what an adventure that was. I learned a bit in case I have to do something like that again.
I was hoping to get ahead in creating the comics, but I've only fallen behind. *sighs.* With syllabus week, and this three day weekend coming up, I may be able to hop ahead of the curve! *fingers crossed*
In other news, the animation I was hoping to be done by last Sunday is still not quite done. I'm going to give myself a couple weeks to work on it with school starting up and other projects cropping up. I'll be posting my current progress this week. I may also try some voice acting practice. I picked up a book from the school's library to helpfully help me out. :]
Going into the school semester, I'm going to be focusing on the comic and voice acting since those won't require much. With school and prepping for graduate school, I have to make sure I place my energy in the right places. This summer I focused so much on art, that I didn't do much prep for grad school. Then again I was bouncing between continuing my education or getting a job and having them pay for that...*sighing*
Anyway, look forward to actual videos on my YouTube channel! I can't promise a schedule for that yet, since I don't know with school and my other obligations.
