Back from my trip!
It's nice to go out of town now and then. I had the opportunity to see relatives I have not seen in a year or a very long while, so that was an added bonus as well! That said, I didn't do much art over the past several days. I did have time for reflection, however!
Before the trip I was working on some character sheets for the twins and my butterfly character as a break from my usual work. I had a fun time with a viewer describing what information I did have on my characters since they are all still fairly new and underdeveloped.
Speaking of viewers, I have established my streaming schedule until September! These times also are designated times for me to do art, so I may or may not be streaming at the times. If I were to be streaming at a certain times, the following would be times to look at for me:
Monday and Friday: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST;
Tuesday and Thursday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST;
Wednesday: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST;
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST
During the other hours of the day, I'm going to focus my attention on college related items and to set some time aside for personal enrichment. xD; In other words, I want to spend more time actually reading the books I checked out the library (both fictional and reference books) and to learn Japanese! I also signed up to learn Korean, but I'm going to tackle one language at a time!
When I am not streaming, I will most likely be doing art tutorials or off line projects or just doodling in my sketchbook. Peep my twitter for when I am live! Check out the stream page to know where I stream!
One of the main things I'll be streaming at least until the end of this month is comic art especially for Princess Flux: Journeys of the Abstract Princess. I finished reading The Insider's Guide to Creating Comics and Graphic Novels by Andy Schmidt from cover to cover and absorbed information to hopefully make my comic stronger as a story and as an artwork! A lot of information I already knew, but some of the insight was helpful! I hope to apply the information to the comic!
Chapter one is coming to a close, and I am feverishly working on chapter two in order to have material to draw! The comic script is completed for chapter one as well, and I am happy it ends visually on a high note. I also get to design splash pages for the cover art, chapter one, and chapter two which would be exciting!
With chapter two comes new characters, new settings, and the next part of the rebellion! The characters' and settings' concept art may be an August project.
Other possible August projects are continuing the Dark Rose animation project (animatic, updated character sheets), reviving Pit Pat Valley, creating character sheets for my other original characters, making new Twitch emotes, update my BRB, AFK, and ending title cards for my streams, and looking into creating more content for my Youtube channel such as speed paints, animated stories, and readings). Perhaps I can animate / narrate my weekly updates? haha I'm also thinking to create Patreon emotes, collage art, adoptables, and a proper commission sheet. Another project I could do is to work on a video game adaptation of my robot animation and even draft the mini series from it! Oh geez. Now I gotta choose like 3 or 4 of these options to focus on in August. I have time to think about it. x]
