Three months into 2021!

It's been a bit rocky thus far, but I'm still here!

I can't say I've colored many drawings, but I have been sketching a lot! Most of them are doodles or thumbnails, so I don't have much to really show. I'm usually sketching out ideas, so anatomy goes out the window. In my opinion, that's okay. Once the idea is on the page, you can always go back and redraw it to make sure bones aren't broken, proportions are right, and the little details are filled in.

I have considered doing a sketchbook tour. May do an informal one on Tik Tok? I'm never in a video editing mood, so I don't know when I'll do a formal one;;;

I've completed some digital pieces mostly motivated by being birthday art for my favorite characters:

I wish I rendered more of my characters, but I have fun sketching them out more. I do have some ideas for future drawings, and I do have some WIPs that need to be finished.

I am super proud about how this drawing of Fenzié came out. I'm using every opportunity I can to post her on Twitter.

Whether or not all of my character drawings will be so involved, I can't make any promises. I do have a drawing of Aurora that has been on my mind for a bit.

I have also been working on a new product line called -Ilo Jelly Babies! I'd love to create stickers, pins, apparel, and accessories with them! Currently I have bookmarks and Niilo stickers, and I'm saving up for LGBTQIA+ variants and fabric! I'm super excited to see this product line kick off. I'll make a little compendium or perhaps a page on my site describing these little creatures. For now, you can read a little bit about them on my Twitter or Instagram posts!

In other news, I've been attempting to post more and more content on my Patreon page! I mostly post WIPs and HD versions of what I post on my social media. Some of the posts even include my thought process as I rendered the drawings. Again, if I wasn't so against to the idea of video editing, I would post fancy speed draw videos. Alas, you'll get step-by-step drawing stages and maybe a gif if I had the energy to deal with Corel Painter's gif renderer.

For $2, you get the basic level which is mostly support and HD photos without the step by step process. The WIPs and step-by-steps will come at the $5 level. I had planned a sticker club / physical merchandise tier, but I have to actually be churning out content for that to work haha.

In regards to my short stories in The Cat in Rabbit's Fur, I've finished rewriting the third short story. I need to edit it a bit more to ensure I capture the feelings of fear and unease. It most likely won't be done by my spring goal (March 20), but all three are on track to be published with covers and bonus content in summer 2021. I'm pretty excited!
